Wilkin Management Group (WMG) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the designation of Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC). It is estimated that less than 15% of management firms in NJ have attained this prestigious designation. The designation was awarded recently at the Annual National Conference of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), which was held in Dallas, TX.
According to CAI, “The Accredited Association Management Company (AAMC) credential is a seminal corporate achievement, but it’s more than a singular accomplishment. It’s a mindset, an attitude and an ongoing commitment that inspires superior performance and company-wide professionalism. It symbolizes a corporate culture that is based on knowledge, expertise, customer service and integrity.”
Achieving the AAMC designation requires a management firm to demonstrate its commitment to the industry by having a track record of several years of successfully providing a broad scope of management services (WMG has been doing so for over 40 years!), having at least 50% of its community association managers achieving the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation and by having the services provided to the firm’s portfolio overseen by a PCAM (Professional Community Association Manager). PCAM is the industry’s highest level of professional certification and requires a unique expertise in the management of community associations.
According to Gary Wilkin, President and CEO of WMG, “We are committed to providing a level of training and education for our staff and a level of service for our clients that sets a high bar for the industry and provides an example of excellence in service that is unmatched anywhere.” WMG is demonstrating this commitment by providing cutting-edge and high-level services to its clients through a team that includes 100% of its managers achieving the CMCA designation (a goal that is on the edge of completion!).
Becoming a CMCA requires an advanced level of education and training, a track record of service in managing community associations, a commitment to continuing their education throughout their career, and a subscription to CAI’s Professional Code of Ethics. The firm maintains an in-house continuous training and education program for its managers and encourages additional industry training and education to ensure that they remain the most experienced and highly qualified managers available.
